Ukulele, being one of the easiest instrument to
learn, is rapidly gaining its popularity in Singapore. And since there
are only 4 strings, it is comparatively easier to learn than the guitar.
If you are looking for ukulele teachers, you have come to the right
place. Not only do we offer ukulele lessons at affordable rates, we are
also giving away FREE UKULELEs to
our students.
We have been teaching music since 2002, and we are proud to present our
systematic approach to learning the ukulele efficiently.

Mediacorp OKTO artBITES, is a
series of short segments
dedicated to promoting the
various arts in Singapore.
We were invited to be featured
on this episode on "how to
play the ukulele".
On this episode, we will be
teaching TV host George Young a
few chords, as well as one basic
strumming pattern for playing
the ukulele.
Airing period:
From 20th Feb - 26th Feb 2012
Pop
Ukulele Course | Stage 2 - Solo
Ukulele NEW!
Due
to the overwhelming requests
from our existing ukulele
students, we are now working
very hard on developing the Stage
2 of our Pop Ukulele
Course, targeted at fingerstyle
ukulele-soloing.
Fingerstyle is the technique of
playing the ukulele or guitar
(usually soloing) directly with
your fingertips. We have covered
a great deal of accompaniment
strumming and plucking
techniques in our Stage 1, hence
fingerstyle uke-soloing is
naturally the next on the list.
Do keep a lookout!
Happy 70th
Birthday, John.
To commemorate
what would have been John
Lennon's 70th birthday on the
9th of October 2010, we rearranged
one of Beatles' most famous tune
'I Want To Hold Your Hand' as a
tribute to the late musician.
John Lennon (9 October 1940 - 8
December 1980) was an English
singer-songwriter who rose to
worldwide fame as one of the
founding members of The Beatles
and, with Paul McCartney, formed
one of the most successful
songwriting partnerships of the
20th century.
This one goes out to all Beatles'
fans.
Super Mario Bros
スーパーマリオブラザーズ
We have a new video!
A mildly-funkyish cover of the theme
song from Super Marios Bros, performed
by our instructor(s) on the ukulele and
guitar!
Super Mario Bros theme song, composed by
Japanese composer Koji Kondo, is
probably one of the most covered game
songs by various musicians all over the
world. We have seen covers performed by
pianists, guitarists, ukulele players,
and even violinists. Never quite seen
before is a duet version performed by
the guitar and ukulele.
We hope you like it.

First follow us,
say this:
Oo-Ku-Lay-Lay,
in Mandarin ÎÚ¿ËÀöÀö.
Well-done!
Now that you are on this page, you must have had certain interest
getting to know this little fella better. Don't belittle it by saying
it's a 'lesser' guitar, and don't you freak out on its very teensy size
if you already are used to the bulk of say a dreadnought guitar. They
are indeed instruments belonging to the same family. Instead of giving
you a long breakdown of its history, we'd endeavour to get the
interested potential of a musician right down to it. Here's what you
need to think about before you sign up for a Ukulele course:
Why the ukulele?
a) It's petite, okay that's an understatement, it's a
cutie!
b) it's handy and mobile!
c) you can strum and sing with it real easy!
d) I can play the guitar! i can transfer what i know on
the guitar onto this happy instrument!
e) I can hit my dog with it. (But we won't, coz
we don't
believe in cruelty to animals or ukuleles.)
What do i need to possess? a) a curiosity for the instrument or music
b) a threshold for fun and joy
c) a ukulele
How to spot the ukulele of your dreams? First,
know that there are sopranos,
concerts, tenors
and baritones.
Replugged Music uses soprano ukuleles for classroom coaching as we find the
instrument size more mobile, accessible for all ages, and also the
treble tone of the Soprano Ukulele very sweet and chirpy.
Last but not least, the Replugged Music Pop Ukulele Course
(3 months' duration) provides:
- 1 soprano ukulele (worth $50.00) FREE!
- 1 gig bag FREE!
No fuss, no frills, and you're ready to get on the greatest 4-String
adventure of your life!
3-month package (12 lessons):
$299 (1 ukulele worth $50 FREE!)
+ Free waiver of $30 student deposit (for a limited time only)
